Activities of Slovenia during its Presidency of CEFTA in 2003

On January 1, 2003, the Republic of Slovenia took over the Chairmanship from the Slovak Republic. On January 24, 2003, Mr. Roman Paldan, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, handed over the chairmanship to Mrs. Tea Petrin, Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Slovenia. Republic of Slovenia has taken over the role of the Chairman for the second time in the history of CEFTA. In 1997, Slovenia held the position of Chairman for the first time. Next year, the chairing country will be the Republic of Bulgaria.
